June 11 - Rotary Club's 2nd Annual Lobsterfest

Rotary Club members have scheduled their 2nd annual Lobsterfest for Friday, June 11, 2004 in the Buffalo Launch Club picnic pavilion, 503 East River Road. The all-you-can-eat event begins at 6 p.m. with light hors d'oeuvres, free beer, wine, and pop all evening and a cash bar, followed by a 7 p.m. dinner of lobster soup, lobster, roast beef, coleslaw, potato salad and dessert. The evening will also feature music for dancing until midnight.

Reservations ($75) are limited and must be made by Tuesday, June 1, 2004. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce, 1980 Whitehaven Road, 773-3651 and Credit Cards are accepted. For further information, contact Rotary President Randy Osvath, 773-6300.

January 31 - Rotary Chili Sale

Members of the Grand Island Rotary Club will hold their annual Chili Sale from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2004 in the Grand Island High School cafeteria. Perfect timing to accommodate Super Bowl Sundays the next day! The chili, offered in mild, medium or vegetarian selections is available at $7 a quart or $5 for dinner which includes a bowl of chili, cole slaw, bread, beverage and dessert.
